When you move and you`re not bringing the charger, you need to transfer the ownership of the charger to the new owner. This is easily done through our portal 👉 portal.zaptec.com.
The only thing you need is the new owners email address!
How to the change owner of a charge point
Start by logging into the Zaptec Portal with the same username and password as you use in the Zaptec app.
- In the Portal; go to “Chargers” and choose your charger in the list.
- Click on the installation name tab
- Choose “Permissions” and then press “Give permission”
- Fill in the new owner`s email address and click the "Search" button. If the new owner isn’t already registered in the Zaptec system you need to press “Check to Invite user”
- Press "Next", and then you will be able to give both User and Owner access to the new owner. When you have checked these boxes, press Next and Save the changes. Now the new owner will receive an email and as soon as they register through that they will have User and Owner status.
- The last step is to remove yourself as a User and Owner.
- Press the thrash can symbol to remove yourself and then you’re finished 👏
