The following article is a guide to connect your Zaptec installation (Go or Pro) to an OCPP backend.
Once the installation has been created by the installer or user with Service level permission in our Portal, it is quite straightforward to redirect authentication and communication to an external OCPP server.
At the installation level, simply select
Settings -> Authentication
A new Installation will be using Native authentication, which is authentication using the Permissions assigned within the Zaptec Portal.
By Selecting the OCPP-J 1.6 authentication selection, you will get access to the available parameters.
Enter your server URL at a minimum and hit save.
More details on the OCPP Authorization settings are here
You can also direct traffic over OCPP to unique custom URLS on each charger using the Charger OCPP settings.
Your Installation authentication type must be OCPP before you can access these settings.
