How to stop charging
Status indicator will glow green when charging is complete. To end charging, you can do this by disconnecting the car from the charging station.
Charging will not start
If the status indicator is yellow, this is often because it is waiting for authorization. Yellow light can also mean that the charger is waiting for available power on their charging system or that smart eco-mode is activated.
Eco Mode
Eco Mode uses historical price data from Nord Pool in order to ensure that charging happens when electricity is cheaper. Add details of when you usually need your vehicle to be charged by and how much energy you need via the Zaptec App.
Eco Mode in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland uses the Nord Pool day-ahead prices instead of historical price data.
If usage patterns deviate from this on some days, you can simply deactivate Smart Eco Mode via the Zaptec Portal or the app and use the normal charging mode.
You can control Eco Mode by setting the departure time and minimum energy (kWh) in the Zaptec Portal or the Zaptec App.
Eco Mode is included in all Home installation types, including Zaptec Go installations.
