A charging station that is set to standalone mode will not be controlled by Zaptec Portal, and features such as authentication, dynamic load and phase balancing will not work.
Standalone mode should not be used for charging stations in installations with more than one charging station. This entails a certain risk that the fuse will be overloaded if the current and phase have incorrect settings.
The outcome of this can lead to the vehicle pulling more than the fuse can withstand. To re-enable these features, you must first disable standalone mode.
Even if the charging station is not controlled from the ZAPTEC Portal, data such as charging consumption will still be associated with the charging station.
Activating and deactivating independent mode requires a PIN code for the current charging station or owner access to the installation.
